Pink is trimming the baby weight after she loses 55 pounds by working out and adhering to mostly a vegetarian diet. She is one of the toughest gals out there and has always prided herself on being physically fit.
In fact, she can hop around the stage in giant heels and twirl from the ceiling like a trapeze artist., but after gaining all the baby weight while she was pregnant, Pink felt like a "mush."
Pink’s diet is more detailed in the cover news story in the new Shape Magazine. The pop star admits that her diet went out of control during her pregnancy.
"I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months. Also anything sour, Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Key Lime Pie..." But once Willow was born, Pink was perplexed how to change it up.
Pink tells multiple news publications her secrets this week. First, she tells PEOPLE that she has given up smoking. Second, she tells Cosmopolitan news that she has cut out excessive sweets.
And finally, she tells SHAPE that she has adopted a chicken and fish routine along with two hours of exercise per day.
Pink spends one hour daily on cardio and another sixty minutes on weights or yoga. Yet, she admits she loves working out. "I like feeling strong. It keeps my mental floor higher. Even if it's a pain in the ... and you hate working out, the endorphins help."
She also tells Cosmo that "I thought I'd feel like a goddess. They sell you on that ... like you'll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess, but I kind of enjoyed that too... yeah, I gained 55 pounds. I think my baby may be part cheesecake." She adds "I've been in mommy mode, and I'm just starting to get back out there into the real world. I've been in the studio recording my new album, so now it feels like everything is falling back into place."
