Rihanna Cross Tattoo Adds To New Collection

Rihanna is now sporting a cross tattoo, it was revealed Jan. 11, adding to the collection of ink she already has on her body. The singer visited Bang Bang Tattoos in New York City on Saturday, where she’s no stranger to the parlor.

The Umbrella singer stayed inside from midnight and until 5am, emerging to admire the work done on her right wrist, alongside the artist.

Rihanna allegedly had a large cross with designs around it on the inside of her wrist - complimenting the elaborate tribal design already emblazoned on her right hand and wrist.

She was channelling edgy chic in a black jacket and crisp white shirt, with an eclectic variety of bracelets, rings, earrings, and very long sparkling nails.
It remains to be seen what Rihanna will get inked next - a self-professed lover of tattoos.

“I like hanging out in tattoo shops,” she has said. “I am so intrigued by tattoos. It’s an entire culture, and I study it,” adding, “Sometimes I go with friends, or just by myself. I get bum-rushed, but I don’t care. I don’t take security.”

Her older tattoos were visible just hours before she visited the tattoo parlor, as she attended a basketball game at the Barclays Center in New York, a Brooklyn Nets versus the Miami Heat.

She looked casual and tomboy chic in a plain white oversized T-shirt, loose blue jeans, black boots, and minimal make-up. After the game, Rihanna made a fan’s day when she gave a young girl a big hug. With snow falling around her, the singer had taken refuge under a large umbrella as she left the game, when the tiny fan noticed her.

Despite the cold, she stopped to talk to the young girl, who promptly started crying.

Without hesitation the Stay songstress reached out and gave the pint-sized fan a big hug.

As if reenacting the lyrics from her biggest hit Umbrella, RiRi pulled the fan in under the protection of the parasol she was carrying.

Rihanna’s new single in collaboration with Shakira will be released on January 13, called Can’t Remember To Forget You.
