Royce Reed, Basketball Wives Star, Suffers Seizure

Royce Reed suffered a seizure. The”Basketball Wives” star suffered a seizure during a charity softball game yesterday. However, Reed was not transported to a hospital.

Reed took part in the Duffy’s Hope Celebrity Softball Game in WIlmington, DE where she played in the game and signed autographs for fans. According to sources, the reality star pulled a hamstring muscle at one point and when she went to go sit down … she passed out. When she came to, she had no idea of the seizure and told people it was the first time she had such an experience.

Paramedics were called, but Reed said she was feeling fine and did not need to be transported to a hospital. She told friends she felt a combination of exhaustion, stress, the heat and her diet caused the episode.

She is doing fine today, but plans to visit a doctor in Florida.

Reed was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Theater Education and Humanities. She is a former gymnast, competitive cheerleader, and dancer for the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat professional basketball teams.

She is also the former girlfriend of NBA center Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. She and Howard have one son, Braylon, born November 18, 2007. Royce recently started her own urban burlesque dance company, Fantashique, which travels around Florida.
