Selena Gomez Bieber: Gomez Ends Interview After Bieber Questioning

Selena Gomez left an interview during a satellite media tour after she was questioned about her on-and-off boyfriend Justin Bieber. After Gomez was probed about the bad-boy’s behavior, she simply left.

WGN-TV entertainment critic Dean Richards was among the outlets talking to the “Come & Get It” during her media blitz.

“You’re, you know, probably as close a friend to Justin Bieber as they come,” he said. “Is there something about him that we don’t get or we don’t understand? I mean, there is one story after another of, you know, pretty outrageous behavior that we’re reading about.”

At first, Gomez looked down uncomfortably, almost as if she were wishing away the awkward situation, and then she smiled to someone off-camera. Despite Gomez’s obvious hesitation, Richards pressed on, following with, “What don’t we get about him or what is it that he’s not getting out there?”

However, before giving any insight into life with the 19-year-old Bieber, which Gomez opened up about the night before during her interview with Ryan Seacrest (she claims she’s single despite the recent Instagrams of the two), the feed was suddenly terminated, and the “Spring Breakers” star’s pretty pout disappeared from the screen. Richards then sort of chuckled to himself as he realized the interview had been disconnected.

A rep for Gomez has not yet responded to omg!’s request for comment, so it’s unclear whether the disconnection was intentional, or if it was some type of glitch. The timing, though, seems to indicate it was no accident.

Meanwhile, an old interview with Bieber has surfaced that should give fans of the former couple some hope for another reconciliation. During a 2009 sit-down with KIIS-FM, before he started dating Gomez, the Canadian singer was asked to name his celebrity crush.

“Selena Gomez,” he quickly replied, before adding, “No one heard that. Keep that on the DL.”

Their relationship was a long time in the making, apparently, and we suspect there will be many more chapters … whether Gomez wants to discuss them or not.
