Shania Twain has stopped her tour at the Verizon Wireless Arena in New Hampshire as well as the Times Union Center in New York due to a respiratory infection. According to a post on the country icon’s Facebook page two dates her concert series have been canceled, according to FOX News.

“Shania Twain’s doctors have advised her to rest for several days after she was diagnosed with a respiratory infection,” the statement read.

As of now, Shania Twain, 50, has scrapped her shows at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Monday in Manchester, New Hampshire as well as the Times Union Center on Tuesday in Albany, New York.

“The concert dates are unable to be rescheduled due to Shania Twain’s current touring schedule,” the statement continues. “All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

In March, the five-time Grammy Award winner announced the 48-city North American tour, her first in 11 years.

“Shania Twain apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause her fans and greatly appreciates their understanding. The tour will resume on Oct. 9th at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City.”

Unfortunately for fans who will be missing Twain N.H. and N.Y. shows, Shania may not be able to perform at their hometown arenas ever again.

“This is going to be a big tour for me because it’s going to be my last,” Twain told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts in March.

“This is my last tour. I’m going to make the most of it. Let’s put it that way… I just really want to go out with a bang.”

The good news is that the Shania Twain tour is scheduled to resume Friday at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City.
