Sofia Vergara previewed her new clothing line for Kmart on September 22 and showed off its sophisticated fashions.
The 39-year-old Colombian star said her new clothing collection is “wearable” and “comfortable.” Speaking to Life & Style about the range, she said: “It’s a normal thing with age, you start feeling different, changing. It’s wearable, it’s comfortable. It’s the stuff that I like to wear.”
She admitted earlier that she isn’t shying away from her signature curve-hugging clothing. She said earlier: “I like to dress up. I won’t leave the house without at least mascara or lipstick. I think that’s a Latin thing. My mother would wake up in the morning to take us to school, and she was already putting on mascara.”
But, the 39-year-old actress says she follows key style rules that allow her to show off her killer curves tastefully. The Colombian beauty added: “In my 20s, I would have on a miniskirt and the boobs.
“Now, if I’m doing something short, I try to cover up [on top]. I’m almost 40, so I had to evolve - it’s natural. I love tight dresses, but I don’t do tight and short. I do tight and long.”
Vergara had been widely known for co-hosting two TV shows for Univision in the late 1990s. Her TV career opened up for her a window of exposure to North American audiences prior to her first notable acting job in English, the 2003 film Chasing Papi.
