Taylor Swift Mean - It’s a new video to help empower fans and it’s called Taylor Swift Mean. The song describes how some people growing up are bullied, but become more successful later in life. Taylor is now another joining the fight against the no bullying campaign.
In her music video Taylor is shown tied up on a train track by a villain, which is to show the feeling of being bullied. Other scenes in the video include a boy reading a magazine being pushed around by football players and a girl eating in the bathroom alone all because she wore a blue ribbon when other wore pink.
“One day, I’ll be, living in a big old city, and all you’re ever going to be is mean,” Taylor sings in the video. While sings the video continues to show the kids that were once picked out by all the bullies becoming successful in their dreams. It also shows Taylor going from playing with her friends to on a Broadway stage.
This is an important message by the young and famous singer. Bullying continues everyday and sometimes kids are seriously injured as a result. Speaking out about the bullying situations helps empower those who have been bullied.
