Life Expectancy By Country 2011 Research

Life Expectancy By Country 2011 – Life expectancy ranks can vary among other countries, genders, and races. The reports for 2011 have been published an the numbers are different based on region. Could this be the new way to determine how long a person lives for?

In 2010 America was ranked 29th for the longest life expectancy for people. New data shows America ranked at 49th with an average life expectancy at 78.3. The country has the highest obesity rate in the world. In fact, 84 percent of all prescription drugs in the world are used by Americans.

Among the top are:

1. Macau
2. Andorra
3. Japan
4. Singapore
5. Hong Kong
6. Australia
7. Canada
8. France
9. Sweden
10. Switzerland

Macau ranked at number one with an average life expectancy of 84.36. It seems as though America just continues downfall with many blaming it on the society of smoking, obesity, traffic accidents, and homicides all of which are increasing with years.

Believe it or not there is actually a difference in the life expectancy according to your race. The 2010 report shows that Caucasian people actually live long than African Americans, 78.9 years for white as to 73.8 years for African Americans. Many blame the 5 year difference on the economical status of many African Americans, less money, health care, and education. Yet Hispanics, who are thought to be in the same situation, live 2.5 years long than Caucasians.

It has been known for quite some time now that women tend to live longer than their male counterparts, about five to ten years. While researchers still aren’t sure of why this is the case, they feel that the reasons are due to men’s activities. Men are typically known for being for risky with their actions. In addition men are known for engaging in more unhealthy activities as well, including smoking and eating.
