Number one on the list of healthy snack you should alway have handy is yogurt. By far it’s one of the best tasting snack you could have and at the same time contains the best nutrients for our body. It promotes muscle growth, it’s filled with calcium, and increases your immune system.
Walnut are also another great healthy snack to add to your diet. They are easily portable and contain omega 3 fatty acids, protein, and many vitamins and minerals. While the taste might not be as pleasing to some, walnuts provide treatment to dry skin and arthritis. They can also assist in reducing heart disease.
Now if your are worried about calories then we have just the thing, a hard-boiled egg. Hard-boiled eggs are packed with protein, about 6 grams of protein per serving. These are a great use for body builders who look to have little calories, but lost of protein. One serving of an egg only contain about 75 calories. Off course you’ll have to get past the taste first.
Other healthy snacks that are great for on the go and are low in calories are fruity popsicles, peanut butter, and popcorn. Popsicles can quench the thirst, peanut butter can be used as a great addition to those vegetables, and popcorn can be that snack that is good for sitting in a movie. While you can’t have the butter all over the popcorn, it’s still a great low-carb snack.
