Bullied teen Kyemah McEntyre wears dress that becomes the latest Internet sensation, decorated with magical creations. She posted several photos to her social media account that shows the awesome self-designed prom dress as she finishes high school and begins a new career, according to The Huffington Post.
McEntyre, 18, designed her own custom outfit and everyone seems to like it. Kyemah was careful when choosing the perfect gown for her important night.
“This is for always being labeled as, ‘ugly’ or ‘angry.’ Thank God, stereotypes are just opinions,” she said. No doubt this is the best way to prove those haters wrong.
McEntyre is unlike most teenagers because she isn’t afraid to boast her confidence, and the prom dress has created debate on African Culture. Some spend weeks picking out their styles, but Kyemah is original and very creative.
Kyemah McEntyre’s dress is a style created by her that makes a bold statement. The positive feedback from people about the prom dress is just more confirmation that she will end her high school year on a high note.
“I’m Kyemah McEntyre, I am 18 years old and I am undoubtedly of African Descent [sic],” she wrote on Instagram. The bullied teen is making an epic payback by wearing the stunning floor-length gown.
Kyemah McEntyre went on to speak out against those who try to bring other people down with negative words and harsh insults, while urging her followers to embrace their individuality and their creativity. Kyemah says she’s an artist with a completely different point of view compared to most individuals.
“I am extremely analytical and observant,” she explained. “Throughout the world, we have people who do not notice each others essence and humanity.”
Kyemah explains that people stunt their collective spiritual growth by allowing assumptions and stereotypes to cloud our mind and thus our physical reality. McEntyre wants to remind people that they let these negative ideas get the best of us, and in turn a world of isolation is manifested by our lack of sensitivity and desire to sympathize with each other.
“This results in a world in which people live within the confines of their own space, isolated from each other and separated from the rest of the world. Sometimes we get trapped in our own prejudice ways. We don’t notice how the idea of a particular type of person changes the way we live our lives.”
McEntyre is defiantly a remarkable teenager and most people agree. There’s no argument when we say that Kyemah has a bright future.
“Don’t let anyone define you,” she said. “Beautiful things happen when you take pride in yourself.”
McEntyre has received over 10,000 likes on her photos, with hundreds of people leaving comments that nearly broke the Internet. Some people say that Kyemah gives them inspiration.
She has risen above the horrible comments that the bullies made. Kyemah McEntyre’s dress is also in a new photo after she was crowned Prom Queen at her high school’s dance.
