Doritos announces rainbow-colored chips for a limited time as part of the “It Gets Better Project.” To show the company’s support of the LGBT community, the company has released a limited-edition version of its Cool Ranch snacks, according to TIME.

The chips come in red, orange, green, blue, and purple, to represent the Pride flag. Sadly, these snacks won’t be sold in stores…only online.

“Limited Edition Doritos Rainbows are here. To get a bag, donate ten dollars or more and show your support. All proceeds go to It Gets Better Project,” Doritos posted on its website.

Rainbow-colored chips available by donation

Want to get your hands on some rainbow-colored chips? Simply go to the It Gets Better Project and donate $10 or more to the fund. One hundred percent of proceeds go to It Gets Better, and Doritos will ship your rainbow-colored chips free of charge.

The It Gets Better Project was founded in 2010 as a way to tell the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world that “it gets better.” The project also aims to create and inspire the changes needed to make the world a better place for them as demonstrated in the rainbow-colored chips.

Hundreds of celebrities have created their own It Gets Better video. The first video to start the revolution was made by Dan Savage and his partner, Terry Miller.

So Skittles kind of has a hold on the whole taste-the-colorful thing, until now. Now before you go eschewing them as gross or unnatural, just remember that the venture is for a very good cause.

And these chips have the added bonus of being super exclusive. You can’t just waltz into your local supermarket and grab a bag.

Which brings us to the real issue at hand here: Are these even any good? Because as great as it is to have a charitable bag of chips, they have to stand up to the taste test.

Since we are extremely adventurous reporters, we did test a few for you. And we can officially report that they taste exactly like Cool Ranch, and that’s not bad for being rainbow-colored chips.
