Giant Lego Christmas Tree; 40-Feet With 600,000 Bricks

11/27/2011 05:07 AM ET

Giant Lego Christmas Tree - A giant Christmas tree has been unveiled in St Pancras - it’s made out of 600,000 Lego bricks and stands 40-feet.

It has taken two months to build.

Kids from local schools and Scout groups made the 1,200 baubles, which are also made out of Lego bricks!

The tree is on show at the St Pancras International rail station in London and will be there until the new year.

It’s so tall that the builders needed to use a crane to put the star on the top!

The tree was created by Duncan Titmarsh who is the UK’s only Lego Professional.

Duncan has built many weird and wonderful things out of the plastic bricks, including a Lego house, but this is his most ambitious project yet.
