A man throws a gator through the drive-thru window at a Florida Wendy’s fast-food restaurant, according to USA Today.
Joshua James, 24, was picking up his order before grabbing a 3 1/2 foot gator from the back of his truck.
After receiving his drink he allegedly tossed the reptile through the window while the server’s back was turned, according to a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Incident report.
The gator incident took place in October, however James was only taken into custody on Monday by U.S. Marshals.
The station also reported that surveillance video led to his arrest.
FWC officials said James admitted to picking the gator up from the side of the road and bringing it to Wendy’s before throwing it.
The alligator was released into a nearby canal.
James has been charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession and transportation of a gator.
