A woman is arrested for a Dunkin’ Donuts dare that involved her wearing no clothes as she sat on a bench outside the coffee shop. Shakara Martin, 32, told deputies she did it as part of joining a dance troupe, according to FOX News. The arrest report by the Greenacres Department of Public Safety stated that police were called at about 9 p.m. on Sunday.

It was a 2-minute time frame when people called 911 to report a “completely naked” woman outside the business. There, an officer found Martin “fully exposed.” At first glance, the officer thought she may need medical attention.

The woman doing the Dunkin’ Donuts dare appeared shocked that the police were called. The officer said she appeared to be coherent and apologized for the incident. Martin explained that it was just a pledge to a dance group.

Onlookers said Martin was offered clothes multiple times and refused them. But she began apologizing when police arrived, according to Sportact. She faces a charge of indecent exposure.

She is the first woman arrested for a Dunkin’ Donuts dare. She was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure and released from the Palm Beach County Jail about an hour later. Jail records indicate Martin was booked on a charge of indecent exposure Sunday and was later released on her own recognizance.

It was not clear whether she’s retained by an attorney.

While Martin didn’t tell police what dance troop she was trying to join or what kind of dancing gets her in the groove, witnesses did tell police she was outside for nearly an hour.

Martin’s alleged display isn’t the only unusual occurrence outside a South Florida Dunkin’ Donuts in recent months. Last month, a Coconut Creek police dog was fired after being accused of biting a Dunkin’ Donuts employee on the calf. Renzo, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, it seems had a penchant for nipping on non-suspects.

The woman arrested for the Dunkin’ Donuts dare listed her occupation as a cosmotologist from West Palm Beach, Florida, notes WFTV. The charges she faces are serious enough to show up on a background check if she ever wants to switch jobs. She is paying a big price for that dare.
