A $159 million mansion in Hillsboro Beach, Florida that sits on a large developing property is for sale. The property was inspired by the Palace of Versailles in France by owner Robert Pereira, according to the Daily Mail.

The extravagant mansion, dubbed Le Palais Royal, first came on to the market in September 2014 for an equally staggering price tag of $139 million. The property was then delisted to allow the project manager to add an extra 1.5 acres to the already massive property.

The $159 million mansion will include two 3,000 square foot guest houses as well as an ice-skating rink, go-cart track, bowling alley and night club. These features will join the 30 car garage, six waterfalls, 1,300 gallon aquarium and 18 seat IMAX theatre that already grace the now 4.5 acre property.

Project manager Joseph Leone was quoted as saying his goal in developing the $159 million mansion was to create “something completely different than what’s been done in America.” Pereira, founder of Middlesex Corp., had intended to live in the home himself but ultimately decided to sell the extravagant mansion.

The mansion has $3 million worth of gold leaf and six waterfalls. It’s appearance is stunning as you make your way up the driveway.

The sale of this extravagant mansion may prove to be difficult despite all of its amenities, as local real estate agent Judy Trudel told the Sun Sentinel that a buyer with that kind of capital will be hard to find.

“You don’t see $159 million in Hillsboro Beach Florida,” she said. “Hope they get it, but I would not be waiting around for it.”

The extravagant mansion, at 935 Hillsboro Mile, is called Le Palais Royal. Priced st $159 million, It’s one of the most expensive homes for sale in the U.S. The next priciest listing in South Florida is a Coral Gables mansion asking $67 million. The most expensive local home sale is a $60 million Miami Beach penthouse that closed in September.
