Brett Favre makes some off handed comments about his Green Bay Packer successor Aaron Rogers. Favre made the comments while doing an interview with Atlanta sports radio station 790 "The Zone." The former NFL quarterback was asked what he thought of Rogers success since taking over the team and winning a Super Bowl last season.

"I'm going to be honest, I was not surprised," speaking of the Super Bowl victory. However he went onto add, "The biggest surprise to me would be that he didn't do it sooner."

Favre went onto explain that he should have has more success sooner because Rogers, "just kind of fell into a good position," when he left the team.

Many around the NFL described Brett's comments of Rogers to be "backhanded". Former NFL player and current NBC NFL anaylist, Rodney Harrison called Favre "classless" and "immature."'

Rogers himself, took the high road when asked to comment on Brett's thoughts. "I'm just going to say that I was really proud of our team," Rodgers said. "It takes 53 guys to win a championship, and we had the right recipe last year and we're trying to do the same thing this season."

Favre and Rodgers haven't been the best of friends, even when they were teammates. Brett admitted that he wasn't interested in mentoring the rookie back in 2005.
