Lindsey Vonn is showing a promise recovery after revealing her leg injury in a photo, but Olympic skier said it is still badly bruised with several cuts.

“My knee looks…um…not very good…. #longskirtsthissummer #ugh,” she wrote on Facebook. It was shared over 2,300 times and garnered almost 23,000 likes.

Vonn suffered the injury during an accident at the Alpine world championships on Feb. 5 in Schladming, Austria. She had to be airlifted to the hospital.

ESPN reported that the World Cup champion tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in her knee and also suffered a lateral tibia plateau fracture — which involves the upper surface of the shin bone, according to U.S. ski team medical director Kyle Wilkens.

On Feb. 12, 28-year-old Vonn posted another photo with caption, “When you fall, get back up!!” The picture shows Vonn exercising in bed with right leg in a cast. The photo reads, “Not letting obstacles stand in your way…#givesyouwings,” with Red Bull in the background. This photo got over 40,000 likes.

Just a day before (Feb. 11), Vonn posted on Facebook a picture of her after a successful surgery surrounding by loving family and friends.

“Success! Surgery went very well yesterday and I’m recovering at home in vail with my family. I want to sincerely thank everyone for their well wishes these last few days. It’s going to be a long and hard road back but I will be back!! Xoxo Lv @gopro #postsergurypic #idontlikehospitalpics,” Vonn told her fans, which seem to be many.

We know that Tiger Woods would be not be happy to see the badly bruised leg but happy to hear that his “friend” is getting better.

Reports say that the two are currently dating and getting really serious, but none of them confirmed or denied the reports.

The pro golfer and Olympic skier were spotted hitting the slopes together in Austria back in November, and now they have spent time with each other’s families.

Infact, Woods sent his private jet for Vonn when she injured her knee to fly the winning skier home.
