Terry Bradshaw will miss his segment at Fox Sports on Feb. 2 for the Super Bowl because of the passing of his father, William “Bill” Marvin Bradshaw, after a long illness. He was 86.

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Terry, his mother Novis, brothers Gary and Craig and the entire Bradshaw family. All are in our thoughts and prayers, and we respect their wishes for privacy during this very difficult time.

Terry is with his mother and family in Louisiana, and understandably will not appear on FOX Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII.

Michael Strahan, who was originally assigned to FOX Sports’ Super Bowl Red Carpet coverage, assumes Terry’s position on the pregame show with Curt Menefee, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Jay Glazer, and handles FOX Sports’ postgame trophy presentation coverage.

FOX Sports’ Chris Myers assumes Strahan’s role with Charissa Thompson on the Red Carpet.
