Alligator In NY Yard Shocks Residents

Alligator NY Yard - Local residents couldn’t believe what they saw in their neighbors yard, and they were more shocked at the site of it. Authorities in NY state were called after someone spotted something strange wandering in a side yard. It was an alligator, but even the city’s animal control officer had to look twice.

It was a 3-foot-long alligator, in a NY yard, and officials don’t know how long it’s been in the city. These residents usually vacation in Florida to see these animals and it was quite a shock to see one in their part of the country. There haven’t been any injuries as a result of the reptile.

The officers are stunned as to how the 3-foot animal got to the place. It is also not yet known for how long the animal has been hiding at the location. The animal was found at Jamestown and the call was made to the police at about 7:45 am.

The animal was taken away from the location into a much safer place. There have been other instances where alligators have found themselves in the yard of residents. In 2008, a video was posted on YouTube showing an alligator on the yard of a property. In both cases, no injuries were reported after the incident.
