HGTV Dream Home 2011 Gets Underway For New Year

HGTV Dream Home 2011 gets underway for new year. HGTV is celebrating 15 years in 2011 of making dream homes come true. The latest prize includes a gorgeous house in Stowe, Vermont.

The Dream Home is fully furnished with with a package valued at $2,000,000 that includes a 2011 GMC Denali Acadia and cash of $500,000.

The competition began on New Year's Day (January 1, 2021) and continues until February 5.

The design of the nearly 11,154 square-foot home, located at Spruce Peak at Stowe Mountain Resort, was inspired in the late 19 Adirondack-style mountain retreat.

It has has three bedrooms, including a "ski room" that sleeps eight, three and a half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and two family meeting places with a large amount of natural light.

During the January television special, hosted by Monica Pedersen, interior designer Linda Woodrum and the House of Planning Jack Thomasson will take viewers on a visual excursion that includes every room in the house.
