Kim Kardashian Keep Will Keep Her Wedding Ring

11/06/2021 04:10 PM ET

Kim Kardashian Keep Ring - Not only is Kim Kardashian entitled to keep the 20.5-carat, $2 million ring, but she will actually do so. Kim’s mother Kris Jenner tried to avoid answering the question the other day, but she chose to answer it on Good Morning America. As anyone who’s been keeping up with the Kardashians must already know, while Kim and Khloe are in Australia, Jenner is promoting her book in the US and, at the same time, talking to the media about what went wrong in her daughter’s marriage.

In interviews earlier this week, Jenner offered a non-committal answer about the ring, offering plenty of room for tabloid speculation — with most media outlets saying she will most likely keep the bauble. On GMA, Kris set the record straight, as the video below will confirm.

Asked about the massive rock, Jenner said, “You know, I hate an Indian giver. It’s a gift — you keep a gift.”

While this doesn’t come as a surprise, it does bring to the table (again) a very interesting discussion / conspiracy theory.

It could very well be that Kris Humphries, Kim’s husband for 72 days and lover for exactly one year, never bought the Lorraine Schwartz-designed piece in the first place because Kim paid for it.

SandraRose claims many of its users noticed a striking similarity between the ring Kim got in 2011 and the one she was wearing in 2009, when she supposedly went out and bought an engagement ring to pressure Reggie Bush into marrying her.

Photos of the two baubles do reveal the similarity: for all we know, they could be one and the same.

“Kim has pressured every man she’s ever met to marry her. So I wouldn’t put it past her to take lighten the load on Humphries’ wallet by trotting out the ring she already bought for herself years ago,” SandraRose writes.

Go here to see photos of the rock — and let us know what you make of the controversy: did Kim recycle her own ring for the marriage to Kris Humphries?
