What Does NewsOXY Mean?

Visitors to our site often ask "What does NewsOXY stand for?" as there is no mention of it in the dictionary. The meaning behind the website name is derived from our parent company, News Oxygen. NewsOXY started on September 7, 2007.

Our primary goal is to report on Hybrid cars and the clean energy that is used to power them. Clean energy vehicles benefit the environment and can help clean the air we breathe. Moreover, it can help reduce our dependency for foreign oil.
