​Ford Launches Blind Date Video to Promote 2015 Mustang

Ford sets up a blind date for its latest campaign to launch its 2015 Mustang GT for Valentine’s Day, and it’s getting a lot of attention. Ford used a professional stunt driver to hook six guys into going on a little car trip, according to The Inquisitr. The setup is the key and the date pretends she’s not that good at driving a muscle car.

The video begins when the two are chatting at a cafe and decide to take off in a new 2015 Ford Mustang. The woman lets the men know that she’s not very experienced at driving a manual transmission. Then, right when the first blind date banter reaches peak boredom, the driver dips off into an empty parking lot to take the men for an unexpected thrill ride.

She doesn’t shift on time and the passengers are wondering if she can actually drive the car. One even asks her if he could show what the car is capable of. But well, moments later they find out that the girl is a professional stunt driver and she throws the Mustang around.

Obviously the clueless guys in the passenger seat are stoked and cannot believe what’s happening to them. Finally, the girl reveals her identity. Moral of the story: Be nice to women drivers; they might just turn out to be stunt drivers.

We love Ford’s blind date video for it’s uniqueness. The company teamed the red-hot 2015 Mustang with an equally hot driver in order to tug at the heartstrings of over a dozen unsuspecting passengers. The clip is pure marketing, sure, but it’s a lighthearted and fun way to push the Mustang-and it still has a lot of tire smoke, notes Firstpost.
