It has recently been revealed though that Microsoft could be discussing the device during the Mobile World Congress 2017. The Mobile World Congress or MWC is one event wherein the top companies in the world of tech showcase their products. It is where Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge and where LG unveiled the G5 earlier this year.

With the MWC 2017 only a couple of months away, many tech fans are wondering what would be in store for next year. One very big possibility according to a recent report is that Microsoft may be discussing the Surface Phone during the event.

While there is no specific indication as to what topics the meetings will center on, it is certainly likely that it will be about the Surface Phone. The upcoming smartphone is one of the most hyped products for the company and surely they will try to maximize it during the event.

While the Surface Phone is surely going to be a very hot topic during the MWC 2017, fans should not expect it to be unveiled during that time. The same report mentions that the Surface Phone could be released before the end of 2017 or early in 2018 so it could be a while before the launch.
