Tony Parker is going to be a dad, which is something you don’t often hear about the San Antonio Spur. Parker spoke about the news on his twitter account, revealing that his fiancé, Axelle Francine, is expecting a baby boy.

The rumors about Tony Parker are true, he’s about to become a new dad after revealing that his fiancé Axelle Francine is expecting a baby boy. The San Antonio Spur took to Twitter on Thursday to make the announcement about his little all-star.

“Hey just wanted to say that I’m very happy today … me and my future wife going to have a baby boy!!!!” he wrote. The French all-star NBA point guard, 31, and his French-journalist fiancé, also 31, have been together since 2011.

Parker hinted they were engaged on Twitter in June 2013, while answering a fan’s question about how he likes to unwind during a game. “Spend time with my fiance,” he tweeted.

This will be the first child for Parker, who was previously married to Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria. The pair said “I do” in July 2007, but in November 2010, she filed for divorce amid rampant rumors that Parker had exchanged hundreds of text messages with another woman.

“Eva wants everyone to know, she’s devastated by the rumors of Tony’s infidelity. She loved her husband and is heartbroken about their split,” her friend, Mario Lopez, said on Extra at the time. “But she’s strong.”

Longoria and Parker’s divorce was finalized in 2011. Since then, the 38-year-old Desperate Housewives actress has dated baseball hunk Mark Sanchez, reality star Ernesto Arguello and musician Eduardo Cruz.

During an interview on Access Hollywood Live in September 2013, Longoria said she doesn’t feel the need to get married again or have children. “I’ve been married twice. Been there, done that!” she quipped. (Longoria was also previously married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.)

“I’m not one of those women who are like, ‘I must procreate!’” she added. “I think kids are a product of love. So if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person, then that’s when the time is right. But…if I’m 50 and single, I’m not going to go do it myself.”
